The 300 was another amp from the KLB range. (technical) With two 2SC2879 transistors in a push pull configuration and the specification for one being for 12 Watts in at 12 volts you could see 140 Watts out at 28Mhz, this would indicate that you had a rugged ( with the amount of aluminium heatsink ) high gain HF linear amplifier.You could also select High/Low output, AM/SSB modes and switch in the reciever pre-amp for those weak signals. |
