Maybe the rarest of all CPI radios worldwide. The Australian importer would have ordered a certain amount from the US factory once 18 channel become legal in Australia. Now remember these radios retailed for around $500 or maybe more in the late 1970's, so you could only surmise that not all that many were sold. Even with 18 channels, it still shared the high specifications of all CPI radios.
