Another popular UHF radio from GME the TX4000 was another leap forward in technology with ability of selective calling. With the accompaning PG4000 pocket pager,( which could be worn while out off the car) you could call the TX4000 which could then relay an alarm to you and your pager. A Commercial two-way radio version was also produced to be used on the Telstra Trunking system of the time. You could also purchase a remote mounted version, the TX4000R.
