A very modern design, all but a few components are surface mount ( very small ). When you first look at what cames out of the box, you might think the rest of the radio is missing. But that's it, making it much easier to mount and install. It's also a dual band radio.  With the flick of a few switches, you can switch between CB and the Marine band. Be aware when purchasing secondhand, it may have unseen water damage.
