This one gets a mention due to the fact that there were a few about during the boom years. Ham International was a European company that carried a large number of models and accessories. Popular worldwide and classed as an Export radio due to is operational modes and amount of channels. Illegal for use in Australia and probably other countries, this didn't stop their sales and use. Today they are considered a classic and very hard to come by. If you happen to see one today, the only worry might be with the VCO section, still if you know a technical person (most radio people do) you should be able to get it back up and running. |
