The only valve type AM/SSB CB base station sold in Australia. Extremely expensive ( a recommended retail of $899 ), but what a looker. It came with a classic Astatic D-104 desk microphone. Mains only operated, it gave out that classic valve radio sound. A super sensitive receiver with test figures of 0.46uV for 10dB SINAD for AM and an incredible 0.04 uv for 10dB SINAD on SSB, it could really pull in weak signals. |
