An attractive budget AM/SSB radio released by TRAM DIAMOND Corporation and marketed in Australia by Mobile One. Controls were basic but this model was fitted with a redeeming feature, an inbuilt microphone preamp circuit board. This really increased talk power. There is also a provision to fit two extra crystals and the associated components to the circuit board. By fitting these you could add up to twelve extra channels. Channel 24 was already installed, you just needed to stop the channel selector on the right spot, interesting thought.
