Made by Laboelectron of Japan, these were a broadband reciever preamp designed to bring in weak signals. The only drawback was the noise floor or noise level would increase when switched on. You could also attenuate (reduce) strong signals, which was useful during the boom years as you had so many stations quite nearby. The unit could be used in your car with supplied brackets or homebase with four rubber feet on it's base. |
