Another one of the many Cybernet made chassis from Japan. A relatively plain looking radio which performed just as well as most, stood out in one way, the amount of accessories you could buy for it. It came with about four different SWR/Power meters, a receiver pre-amp, a power supply, a microphone amplifier/compressor with dual controls, an extension speaker, two desk power microphones, a telephone handset, there maybe others ( you can look at some of them in the accessories section ), that and with an almost Australia wide dealer network ( in 1979 ) these were plentiful. So if your up to collecting the American Electronics range, you will have to be persistent. One note on 76-577, the front panel will fade to green. If chasing a good example, the front panel should be brown. |
