Not to be mistaken for the Tram Diamond TRAM XL5 sold through Mobile One, these were totally different radios internally.The number 5 was high lighted in red on the channel dial to indicate the Emergency channel. They used the same circuitry as radios like the Kemtronics SSB 1000 or the Pace 1000 amongst others. An average performer only released as an 18 channel. |
