Icom's first Australian UHF CB hand held. Quite plain with thumbwheel switches on top for channel selection. The radio in the picture is fitted with the optional 12.4volt battery. A large selection of accessories was also available. A point of note with the IC40 is that the channel selection is made via an EPROM. For the technically minded, you may be able to add the new 80 channel plan with some minor changes and tuning. |
