An attractive radio, they used the same internals as the Kemtronics 1000. Arriving as 23 channel and some 40 channel units, you could increase the channel range if you knew how. A couple of things did plague these units, a fragile PLL chip and poor solder on certain production runs. If you pickup one of these today, and it's still working, fantastic. It should give you years more service. |
