Pearce Simpson Australia would soon look to Cybernet Japan to start designing and manufacturing their radios. The Cheetah SSB/2 was a Uniden design, and an early PLL radio. Lots of chrome and woodgrain in the Pearce Simpson tradition, this unit also had a built in SWR meter and an uncommon three pin microphone plug. The centre of the channel selector knob should be silver. If purchasing one, try and make sure it comes with a matching microphone and plug.
