Wow what a radio for the time. Miniature (47mm x 22mm x 145mm ) with specific components designed for this radio. There biggest downfall was poor quality control. Many of them returned under warranty, making them not as successful as they should have been. When checked, it was found that most, if not all the returns were not tuned correctly or just simple mechanical failures. This led to them eventually being sold off at a 5th of their original retail price. But even today, what a great toy. |
