The 990 was a converted KG105 commercial two way radio. Eprom programmable, people soon learnt how to add extra channels, like the police band and so on. Being a commercial radio, you had a fantastic reciever but the high powered TX output stage ( 25 watt ) had been replaced with a legal 5 watt unit. |
