This was it, the 999. Everybody wanted one. Again another converted Two Way radio with 5 watt output, but it didn't take long before people realised you could swap out the output section and replace it with a 45 watt stage. A remote mount adaptor was also available for boot mounting. A fantastic receiver these were great to use. An added note with the new 80 UHF CB channels, these radios can be reprogrammed to operate on them, but some adjustments will need to be done. |
