SBE were already well established in the U.S. There were many models, but only a small range were released in Australia. The Sidebander IV, was an early PLL AM/SSB mobile. A very solid radio, some were used on the 10 metre band after being converted and others just for CB use. Not all that common today, when looking at purchasing a Sidebander IV, the electrolytic capacitors will need replacing. Once done the radio should perform well.
