One of the earliest AM/SSB 23 channel radios to arrive in Australia (early 1970's). This Tokai radio came with all sorts of accessories including a porta-pak with heavy duty frame and antenna for on the go operation, a VOX headset, matching base power supply with built in speaker and other smart items. Also quite a small radio for its time, you wouldn't consider it large compared to the most modern of AM/SSB mobile radios sold today. Sold in the mid 1970's through Peter Shalley CB, they are rarely seen for sale today. |
